Contact CJIS to make an
appointment for fingerprinting at the Bel Air MVA by calling 410.764.4501 and using
option #5. This is the fastest and easiest way to get
fingerprinted. Although it does cost approximately an
additional $20—you will know immediately if any fingerprints were
smudged and need to be redone before they are submitted. If you
choose to go to the local police station/sheriff’s office, please
know that smudged prints will be returned and the process will need
to be repeated—if you do select this route, you will be responsible
for mailing your fingerprints to the CJIS address listed on the
form.
-
Items to bring with you for
your fingerprinting appointment:
-
The Fingerprinting Office is to the far left and down the hallway to an office on the left
marked “Fingerprinting.”
-
The Fingerprinting Office will provide you with necessary paperwork to complete.
-
The fingerprinting process is now computerized, so you might not
have to physically complete the application. However, it is
important to
provide the finger-printer with the correct information).
* Do not hesitate to show the
finger -printer a printout so that she/he can appropriately enter
the correct information!
-
Obtain a receipt and place in AMY DOHERTY'S mailbox. All
parent volunteers need to have their fingerprinting completed and
the receipt turned in BEFORE being able to work in the classroom.
It is the parent volunteer’s responsibility to reschedule any missed
working days due to incomplete paperwork.
-
Do not hesitate to contact AMY DOHERTY with any further questions or concerns.
